I shot this for a seminar. The goal was to riff on a key topic and make people smile. I used high contrast lighting to evoke fashion ads and then we threw ideas around until we made each other laugh.

Tami Pierce from BCIT teaches how to make an origami shirt while sharing the origin of orange shirt day. An overhead camera helped capture the origami process for this piece.

You can do a lot with a lunch break, good people, high frame rates, speed ramping and some simple compositing.

This video played a key role in a campaign to educate hikers on wilderness safety and ease the strain on search and rescue. We needed to capture a lot in a short window, so used two camera operators on the ground and a third in the helicopter (me!).

We needed to shoot a series of these with different coloured back drops. Arri Sky Panels allowed us to shoot on a white background and dial in whatever colour we wanted.

Sometimes you have to use what’s available. This short social post communicates Canine Friendly's core offering using pre-existing stills and some basic animation in After Effects.

When MEC relaunched it’s in-house brand, I put this short cut together combing new footage with b-roll I’d captured of product testing in Canada and manufacturing in Asia.

Compositing, rotoscoping and artificial smoke & fire brought this static image to life.

MEC’s iconic Rad Pants had been on member revival wish lists for almost two decades when I made this April Fools’ ode to 90s cheese. Mayhem ensued and the Rad Pants sold out in less than 24 hours.

Ducking and diving required! I relied on a gimbal and my wits for this social post.
